Lenovo IdeaPad 310-15ikb laptop. The analysis of the laptop was not carried out, the fee is original. RAM I tried obviously working, Kingston and Samsung. BIOS INHYDEH20 REV. 5, not custom. Mechanical damage is possible, the laptop was not used by me. There are no visual defects on the board, everything is OK on the slot of the RAM. AIDA64 and CPU-Z output full information about an additional shoe, Windows and BIOS do not see, show only 4096 MB, as I understand it, reconnected RAM. RAM is obviously compatible with the motherboard. Windows Pro license 64 discharge. What could be the problem?

Solution

helped replacing the RAM slot.

I can assume that you have a custom BIOS update, or a Chinese motherboard. It is also possible a fake memory module (which is unlikely if it is planted on the board, I assume that you have a laptop). There is also possible damage to the board / bios. Too little information to give a detailed answer.

Answer 2

it happens when OS is 32 categories. The bar will see, and memory addressing is enough for a maximum of 4GB. Put the 64-bit version of the operating system. This will allow the use of large amounts of RAM.
