Getting this error may be because you do not have the required permissions.

In order to get them, you need to do the following:

  1. Right-click on the registry entry for which you need to obtain permissions.

  1. In the window that appears, click Advanced .

  2. Next Owner , select Administrators , Change owner ... and agree.

  1. In the first window, check the boxes for Administrators , agree.

After all changes in the registry are made, you need to return the system to its rights:

  1. In the window Additional parameters ... click on Other users or groups ... , write down the system.

  1. Agree, also check Change owner , and uncheck Administrators .

P.S. You make all changes to the registry at your own peril and risk !!!
